Near death experiences became well known as the experiences of people who were on the point of death since the seventies. But studies show that similar incidents were reported at all times and all over the world.
In consideration of the medical progress, many people, who were found in critical physical circumstances, could be revived.
Some of them were already clinically dead before they turn back to the normal life. Some of these persons give an account of extraordinary experiences, during their clinically death.
Even if the concrete descriptions were different from patient to patient, they had also exceptionally consensuses. The American physician Raymond A. Moody published a book about these strange occurences in 1975, and this topic has got a huge publicity. Meanwhile Near Death Experiences are a current phenomenon, which is reported from all regions of the Earth.
Essential elements of Near Death Experiences:
The following elements of the (positive) Near Death Experience (compilation from the books by Raymond A. Moody) occur rarely all. In the majority of cases only a few occur.
* The experienced Near Death happenings are indescribable, there are no words to find for this
* Leaving the body, floating to the ceiling
* The confusing first realisation of death
* The pain disappears, replaced by a deeper peace
* The “dead” moves through a dark tunnel to a faraway light out
* Noises, often unpleasant, such as a boom or swoosh
* Admission to a luminous, different world
* The”dead” is received by previously deceased friends and relatives.
* Encounter with a love and understanding radiating higher light-being
* Life Review: In this retrospection the “deceased” make a assessment of the deeds of his life
* The time frame is strong
* Prompt, often by the light beings, to reverse to the earthly life
* Reluctantly returning to the earthly life
* The Near Death Experiences change the person, e.g. pay more attention to others
